Fun Facts About the GOM Hunting Club>>

We began in earnest during the fall hunting season of 2010 outside of Colorado Springs, Colorado.​
​
As chance would have it, we ended up being close neighbors and discovered that we both had a passion for hunting and the outdoors. If memory serves, we were discussing how many mule deer were in the area, as we sat outside and watched how close they were to our properties.

Our first season was mule deer archery, where we were both successful. After deciphering the Colorado tag system, we both purchased an over the counter wild turkey tag for the April 2011 season...a first for both of us. That hunt (covered in the "Big Bird" tab of this site) turned out to be a Colorado State Record for us!

Just like that, we were diagnosed with "hunting fever" and began researching the maze that is the Colorado tag system. We've documented many of our good and bad experiences here and on our Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter accounts in hopes that we can share our knowledge to increase your chances for a highly successful hunt!
